Over the course of 4 intensive weeks, members of the Louis Jones Producer’s Group will gain hands-on knowledge of the entire filmmaking process—from raising money to winning awards. Each week builds on the last, giving you a clear roadmap to take your project from idea to screen.

Week 1: Fundraising & Crowdfunding

Learn how to secure financing for your projects through private investors, sponsorships, and crowdfunding platforms. Gain strategies for pitching, creating investor decks, and rallying community support behind your vision.

Week 2: Pre-Production

Master the planning stage by developing scripts, budgets, call sheets, and schedules. Explore casting, location scouting, crew assembly, and the essential logistics that set up a successful shoot.

Week 3: Production & Post-Production

Step into the world of on-set filmmaking and understand the roles of directors, producers, cinematographers, and crew. Then, dive into post-production—editing, sound design, music, and color correction—where the film truly comes to life.

As a member, you will have the opportunity to contribute as a producer on all of these projects, gaining firsthand experience in every stage of the filmmaking process—fundraising, pre-production, production, post-production, and distribution.
